Bremshey Treadline Pacer T Treadmill

The new and improved Bremshey Treadline Pacer T treadmill is a mid-range but fast approaching high-end running machine Accell, a German manufacturer also responsible for the Tunturi range of treadmills.

The Pacer is “pacey by name and pacey by nature”, with the main feature of the treadmill being that it can be pushed to a top speed of 12.4mph. So if you find that you’re exceeding 10mph which is the norm for many treadmills then the Pacer T may be the one for you.

To get this running machine up to this speed, the Pacer is fitted with a powerful 3.0HP motor. The motor is more than adequate, on the flat, and thankfully has no problems when elevated to the full. The Bremshey Pacer can be set up to a steep 12% incline. As you can imagine setting the machine at full elevation and top-speed, even the fittest runner would find that to be a challenging workout. Thankfully the running area of this machine is generously proportioned at 52 x 150 cm (20 x 59 inches), which will give you a comfortable run even at the top end of the machines speed and incline. The running deck also features the same cushioning as the Bremshey Scout and Ambition, which we found to give good support during running at all speeds.

As we’ve said in our other Bremshey reviews, the machines are well built and solid. The Pacer T can accommodate a runner up to 330llb, so most people will be able to use the machine with no problems.

The Pacer’s console is easy to use and has a good range of programmes with a total of 13 built in. These include the ubiquitous “manual” programme as well as a number of other pre-set programmes. The Pacer T also comes with 1 Heart Rate Controlled (HRC) programme, that keeps your pulse rate constant for a safe and optimised work-out. A set of 1 touch speed and incline keys allow you to set the machines speed/incline with a single touch of a button,

We cannot fault the Bremshey line in any way when comparing the basic features (massive top speed, motor size, running area), A few more bells and whistles would have been nice, for example the Proform range feature the iFit training programme that does help to keep you motivated. As an aside, the Pacer T has an endorsement from WHICH, as this model is a previous winner of the “home use treadmill” award.

As you’d expect from a German manufacturer, they put great stock into their workmanship. The Bremshey range is backed up by a good warranty, just not quite up to Horizon’s standard. The machine is covered for fifteen year on the frame and motor, and also comes with a 2 years parts and 2 years labour on site warranty.
