Bremshey Treadline Trail T Treadmill

The Bremshey Trail T Treadmill is a mid-range running machine from this manufacturer. The Trail T has had a couple of updates from it’s previous incarnation, most noticeably around the treadmills motor and computerised console.

The Trail T is a well built machine, that can take a pounding even from the larger runner. This treadmill is rated to take a runner up to 330lbs (150kg) which will be accommodate most people wanting to use the machine. To accommodate runners of all sizes, the Trail T has upgraded the power of the motor on this model to a full 3.0HP. That is an increase of 0.25HP over the older model. This comfortably powers the running belt with the larger runner, and also means this machine can be pushed to 11.2mph (18km/h). The Trail can also be raised to a relatively steep incline of 12%, which is 2% more than the lower spec’d Bremshey Ambition treadmill.

The running area on the Trail is generously proportioned, although unchanged from the cheaper Bremshey models we’ve reviewed. Don’t take that as a negative though as it is still large for this price bracket, with its dimensions at 52×150cm (20×59inches). The cushioning system also remains unchanged, which is no bad thing as we found it to be comfortable to run on.

When we reviewed the Bremshey Scout and Ambition treadmills we commented on the decent warranty you got with the machine. Thankfully, the warranty is carried through with the Trail T. This treadmill has two years in-home parts and labour cover, with a further 15 years warranty on the frame and motor. We recommend only buying a treadmill with two years home cover.

The other main improvement over the older Trail model is around the computer console. The console has been simplified and has the useful one-touch keys that allow you to set the machines speed and incline with a single key-press. The built-in computer programmes have been increased to nine, with one of these being a heart-rate controlled programme. As with the other Bremshey models, there’s a built in received to use with the (optional) chest strap, or you can use the hand-sensors to record your pulse instead. The clear LED display shows you all the pertinent information you require such as current speed you are running, elevation, distance travelled and calories burned, There’s even room for a cup-holder!

The features and price of the Bremshey Trail treadmill make this another good runner from this German manufacturer.
