The DKN Space Run folding treadmill can be folded and unfolded in one single movement thanks to the Slim Fold system, and is ready for running immediately after it is plugged. It features a 2.5 HP continuous duty motor of 4 HP peak power, self-cooling and working both quieter and longer than standard motors. The treadmill’s belt reaches a maximum speed of over 11 mph and maximum incline up to 15%: both can be changed in an instant with the use of specially designed hotkeys. The 19 workout programmes help reach both overall fitness and specific goals, e.g. cardiovascular health; 3 of the programmes feature heart rate control. Transport wheels and the extra convenient folding system make the DKN Space Run very easy to move and store upright or flat. The running belt size is 130cm x 45cm (51” x 18”).
The DKN Space Run treadmill is equipped with the traditional +/- buttons for speed and incline change, but it also includes hotkeys for instant changes of the incline (3, 6, 9, 12%) and speed (4, 8, 12, 16km/h). An extra flat LCD console enables the user to monitor every session, as it stores and provides constant feedback on data related to user’s profile, speed, time elapsed, distance covered, calories burned, incline, 400m laps and heart rate. An integrated 3.5mm audio jack connection on the console, suitable for both MP3 players and iPods, will make the workout really entertaining, adding an element of music to it.
The Space Run offers a complete range of 19 different workouts, including 14 built-in programmes with speed control, incline control and cross-training courses, 3 heart rate settings that use the DKN’s My Zone Programme heart rate control, helping the users effectively achieve their cardiovascular fitness goals, a manual control option and a body fat test.
The Comfort Cushion Deck is a novelty introduced for even better shock absorption and even more comfortable stride and step thanks to the barrier it creates between the heel of the foot and the weight. The Progressive Shock Absorbing System responds to the user’s every stride for best cushioning and support; at the same time the hydraulic shock-absorbing system works for better, smoother and quieter performance. A special 3.3mm thick orthopaedic belt has been made of sound and friction reducing materials for optimal comfort of the user.
