ProForm 3.6 Folding Treadmill

I’ve always been impressed with the features you get packed into the ProForm range, even the budget treadmill range from ProForm give you plenty of bang for your buck. Although the ProForm 3.6 folding treadmill is the entry level running machine it has plenty of features you’d expect in a more expensive machine.

Usually the entry level treadmills from other manufacturers are aimed at walking or light jogging. The ProForm 3.6 immediately stands out as it has a speed rating of up to 16kph or around 10mph. This running machine can cope with runner’s of most shapes and size, being able to accommodate a person up to 113kg. The generously sized motor which is rated at 1.75HP is more than suitable for a running machine in this price bracket.

The running area is large coming in at 130cm x 46cm, treadmills in this price bracket generally have a running area in the region of 120cm x 40cm. Whilst this may not seem a big difference, at the higher speed settings you’ll really appreciate the extra room the larger running belt affords. Equally you’ll be pleased with the ProTech III impact reducing cushioning that will reduce strain on the joints when exercising.

The ProForm 3.6 has 9 pre-set programmes built into it’s computer console, ensuring plenty of variety in your training regime and hopefully keeping you more motivated. You can also monitor your heart rate whilst exercising using the Dual-Grip EKG Heart Rate Monitors built into the handlebars of the running machine.

The icing on the cake has to be the inclusion of the power incline. Again most treadmills at this price level will usually have a 2 or 3 level manual incline. The ProForm 3.6’s power incline goes from 0% (flat) up to a quite steep 10% and can be increased/decreased in 0.5% intervals.

This ProForm treadmill comes with a really excellent warranty. It is covered for the machine’s lifetime on the frame, five years on the motor and 2 years full on-site parts and labour warranty.
