The Weslo Cadence 21 folding treadmill features powerful 1.75HP continuous duty motor which reaches a top speed of 10 mph (16kph) and a maximum power incline of10%. The running deck is 41cm (16”) wide and 127cm (50”) long, what is more it is cushioned and provides 15% more shock absorbtion in comparison to road running. The variety is ensured by 8 different programmes.
The Weslo Cadence treadmill features LCD screen on the console which is divided into three sections. The middle one displays a quarter mile track in order to show covered distance in a visual fashion. On the left part are displayed: theoretical calorie consumption and exercise time in rotation along with the current incline (shown when the incline is changed). The right part rotates between the speed and the distance covered. An additional feature is possibility to change the speed of the running belt with a single press of the button (2, 4,6,8, 10, 12, 14, 16 kph) provided by direct speed keys on the console.
In order to measure a pulse one needs to stand on the anti-slip foot rails and place the thumb on the sensor which is on the console. The measure rate is displayed after about 15 seconds.
The 8 programmes are divided into two groups. 4 of them are weight loss programmes, there are two 30 minute programmes, one 35 minute and one 45 minute The second group of 4 programmes consists of intensity training workouts which duration varies from 20 minutes to 45 minutes.
The folding mechanism features side locking latch which secures the running deck in place when folded. The Weslo Cadence 21.0 has also transport wheels.
