With a 1.75 HP continuous duty motor, the compact SL has a top speed of 16 kph which is just under 10 mph. This large motor gives the compact SL a decent maximum user weight of 120 kg or 18.5 stone. The incline adjusts from flat to 3%, 7% or 10% so that you can work a large range of muscles.
The compact SL has 4 built in workout programmes, or you can use the manual controls to make the exercise as hard as you like.
However you run, you can be sure that the large LCD display will keep you on track with valuable information including current speed, distance covered, time elapsed, theoretical calories burned and pulse rate. The pulse grip sensors are built into the handrails and are an ideal way of checking that you are not over exerting yourself during the run.
The running belt measures 120cm by 40cm and because of the cushioning technology, running on this treadmill reduces impact on stress on your joints, greatly decreasing the risk of injury.
