The York Fitness Equipe Treadmill is a high quality treadmill that has a huge 2.5HP continuous motor which quietly delivers a maximum speed of 18 kph (11mph), and a 12-level motorised incline. The York Equipe Plus Treadmill also features the new York Proximity Sensor which acts as safety barrier that detects if any objects such as crawling babies, toddlers or pets enter the safety zone around the treadmill and are potentially in danger of harming themselves and sounds an alarm. It also features a heart rate control programme that together with the other features makes this a quality, family friendly machine that will help you to achieve your fitness targets and keep you safe and motivated.
The Diamond Equipe folding treadmill us delivered in a part assembled state, which minimizes the time and effort required for its assembly.
Two display windows placed on the console provide fully comprehensive feedback on such features of the training session as speed, distance covered, exercise time, pulse rate, calorie consumption and incline. The larger of the two windows contains a clear display area for programme options, instructions, programme profiles or a quarter mile track indicating progress. The console is also equipped with a convenient recess to hold an mp3 player, speakers, a fan and a magazine rack!
Speed and incline adjustment buttons are places on the console for maximum convenience. Measurement of the user’s pulse rate can be made with the use of hand grip pulse sensors or a built in Polar compatible wireless heart rate receiver for greater accuracy and convenience (chest belt is an optional extra).
The treadmill features a standard manual control programme, but also 11 preset programmes for speed and incline adjustment (or, on 3 of the programmes, for both), 4 target programmes (distance, calories, time and elevation), 3 custom user defined programmes, 3 heart rate control programmes (for speed only, incline only, and both) and an additional body fat test programme.
The folding mechanism is hydraulic assisted; transportation is easy due to a set of wheels. The Diamond Equipe is a highly specified treadmill featuring a unique proximity sensor guaranteeing safety in households with young children.
