York T302 Diamond Folding Treadmill
As you’d expect with a machine in this class, this treadmill has features you require for a varied exercise regime. For a start the T302 has a broad range of speed settings, that run from 0.8kph up to 20kph. If you’re going to be hitting speeds at the top end of this range, you’ll be thankful of the integrated cushioning system that is also found on the t301. The powered incline runs from 0% (flat) up to a generous 12%. This gives the runner the ability to simulate fell walking or hill running exercises in their own home. The maximum user weight for this machine is 150kg therefore the decently powered 3HP motor is a welcome addition, especially if pulling an exerciser at full speed up a 12% incline!
We’ve already discussed the top speed and incline levels on this treadmill. To take full advantage of these features, York have added a computerised console with 22 work-out programmes. This includes 3 heart rate controlled programmes where the machine controls speed/incline to ensure your heart-rate stays within defined boundaries. The console can also store up to 3 programmes of their own within this treadmill’s memory. The console is made up of 1 Large LCD window with 5 LED windows, that feed back information on current time, speed, distance, calories, pulse and incline to the runner.
Similar to the T301, the T302 treadmill also features hand sensors in the bar of the machine, alternatively you can hook into the in-built wireless receiver using a chest strap for more accurate monitoring. The T302 also has the inbuilt speakers and MP3 connectivity if you want to hook up your MP3 player whilst exercising.
A running machine with all these features start packing in size and weight, with the T302 coming in at 113kg. To help you fold this machine, York have added the “easi-lift” fold-up system to help you more easily stowe it away when not in use.
The warranty for the running machine is a respectable 10 years on the motor with three years parts and labour for the rest of the treadmill.
